Man wounded in late-night shooting

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - North Charleston police were investigating a late night shooting Tuesday near the Liberty Hill community.

About 9:30 p.m., authorities arrived on East Montague Avenue near the railroad tracks. They found a male with a gunshot wound to the leg, said Spencer Pryor, police public information officer. Pryor said the victim was not cooperating with police. He was taken to a local hospital.
